What is Business Performance Coaching? That’s usually the first question I’m asked when I tell people what I do. Performance coaching for businesses is like sports coaching for sports people. Both use their experience and expertise to help people reach their full potential in their chosen field.

The second question is usually, “but what could you teach me about my business? I’ve been in business for years and I’ve done well”. My reply - “Absolutely nothing. If you have built your business successfully then you are unquestionably the expert in your field. There is nothing I can teach you – about your business.” What I can do though is give you a completely objective view of your business, work with you to enable you to tap into the knowledge and experience I‘ve gained from working with many businesses, both large and small.

The main focus of Business Performance Coaching is to teach new business skills and motivate you and your team to put in place what you learn. The end game is to help you reach a level of business that provides you with a great life now and a future after you have finished with your business; if that’s your dream.

Focusing on getting specific goals achieved within a specific target time – It’s about continuously improving the business – a 5% increase in profits each month means around 80% increase in one year... over two years that equates to a 220% increase – What would that mean to your bottom line in real terms? Do you think we could get that sort of increase with some focused work on how you and your business performs?

Helping busy people get the time back in their lives for the things they want to do outside their business and spend time with those who are important to them. To get them away from the grind of their business and revitalise their enthusiasm.

Sometimes it is just about making sure that the business model will deliver a profitable experience. Business Performance Coaching looks at the hard facts and being realistic. How many times have you heard of someone who works very long hours and still doesn’t get the rewards. Performance coaching helps focus on results not reasons. You cannot make excuses when you have the success you aimed for.

Business Performance Coaching focuses on people.

As well as your business skills, we will work together on your people skills. As Russ Keyte from 418 said, “They just don’t teach you this stuff – with Alex, you learn how to communicate with everyone, including with the bank and Tax Office, with confidence”.

Dale Carnegie (pioneer in public speaking and personality development) said, “People skills are an essential ingredient for professional and personal success”.

Alex is an independent Business Performance Coach with experience coaching many business owners of small and large companies at national and international level. “Being independent allows me to be flexible to focus exactly on what my clients want to achieve, and work in a way that suits them and their business plans”.
